David M. Nazaroff, Sr. was born January 10, 1926 to Morris and Mary (Milesderoff) Nazaroff in Guadalupe, Baja California, Mexico. He married Mary Tolmasoff Nazaroff in 1949 and they moved to Wasco where they worked together in farming for over 60 years. David was very involved with his church and as a hobby he fixed and sold old trailers and pick-ups. David was a very involved father with his children's activities in 4-H and the Kern County Fair. David is survived by his two daughters, Onya Tolmasoff and husband Mike of San Juan Capistrano and Susan Smallwood of Las Vegas, Nevada; two brothers Pete Nazaroff and Gabriel Nazaroff; 2 grandchildren, Niclana Creagh and husband Chris and Corey Tolmasoff and wife Urszula and their daughter, Ashlyn. David was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nazaroff; son, David Nazaroff, Jr.; parents, Morris and Mary; brother, William Nazaroff; and sister, Hazel Babashoff. Traditional funeral services under the direction of Peters Funeral Home at the Shafter Russian Molokan Church to be followed by a graveside service on Monday, April 25 at Shafter Memorial Park for David M. Nazaroff, Sr., age, 85, of Wasco who passed away April 21, in Bakersfield. A viewing will begin Sunday, April 24 at the church.
