David was born to Gene and Ruby Giese on October 29, 1948. He was born in Bakersfield and lived in Arvin most his life. The last ten years were spent in Bakersfield. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1966 and honorably discharged in 1969 with the rank of specialist fifth class. He was a meat cutter for twenty five years. Then spent several years working for Richardson farms before retiring. He was very much liked by his friends, and would always try to help those in need. David was proceeded in death by his father Gene and mother Ruby. His biggest regret is that he was never blessed with a child. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11am at South Kern Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hoffman hospice.
