David Ortiz De La Rosa November 13, 1945 – June 8, 2016 Our beloved father, David Ortiz De La Rosa, was born on November 13, 1945 in Austin, Texas to Jose and Maria De La Rosa. He was a fun-loving family man who like to travel and loved the good Lord. Our father, loved to spend time with his family and was a devoted husband to our mother Lupe (Alvarado) De La Rosa for over 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife Lupe De La Rosa; children, Rachel De La Rosa, Elizabeth De La Rosa, and David Joshua De La Rosa Jr.; sisters, Sally Sanchez, Olivia Munoz, Ofelia Macias, Esther Zavala, Olga De La Rosa; and brother, Joe De La Rosa. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 6:30-8pm at Southwest Christian Center located at 3700 New Stine Road, Bakersfield, CA 93309. Funeral Services will be on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11am at Southwest Christian Center followed by the Graveside as Arvin Cemetery.
