David Chavez was born in Bakersfield, Ca on September 4, 1962. David was an extraordinary person who devoted his life to volunteering his time at his beloved church among family and friends. David spent many years playing the trombone in the Arvin Band. He also played the piano and guitar. He traveled the world as a missionary for most of his life. David lived in Mexico, Spain, And Brazil. David loved his family and church family, especially his church Victory Outreach. He was a loving person with a soft-spoken demeanor. David was a social person who made friends everywhere he went and his sarcastic sense of humor made him a "one of a kind" man. When David was not volunteering; he enjoyed spending time with his canaries, dogs, and cats. David died on August 18, 2020 in Bakersfield. David is survived by his sisters, Margarita Mendoza, Elvira Jones, Lupe Chavez Torres; brothers, Eddie Chavez, Daniel Chavez; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luis Chavez and Isidra Morales Chavez; brothers, Ruben Chavez, and Severo Chavez.
