Danny Richard Vasquez was born on March 1, 1966 in Lubbock, Texas to John and Guadalupe (Tijerina) Vasquez. The family moved to California in 1975 and lived in Delano, Avenal and Lost Hills. Danny attended Wasco High School and moved to Wasco in 1991. Danny was always meticulous with his cars and in his younger years he joined the local car clubs. Danny and Marisol Lopez were married March 27, 1999 and they had 2 children. He currently worked for E & B Natural Resource as a derrick hand in oil field construction and had worked for many other companies over the last 15 years. Danny was very outgoing - the life of the party always laughing and joking, he was a big kid at heart. He always cared for his family, he was a good provider and very thoughtful. Danny was preceded in death by his father, John Vasquez (2000). He is survived by his wife, Marisol; children, John Daniel and Princess; mother, Lupe Vasquez; sisters, Yvonne Figueroa and husband Johnny of Delano, Alane Vasquez of Hanford; uncle, Tomas Vasquez and cousin Pedro Lara both from Texas; and many other loving family members. A graveside funeral service under the direction of Peters Funeral Home will be held at Wasco Memorial Park on Thursday May 7, 2009 at 10 am for Danny Vasquez, age 43, of Wasco, who passed away May 1, 2009 in Wasco. Pastor Danny Scott of Freewill Baptist Church will officiate the service and internment will follow. A visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Wednesday May 6, 2009 from 2-8 pm.
