Francisco Daniel Ruiz Tribute Video

Francisco Daniel Ruiz "Danny," 66, of Wasco, passed surrounded by his family peacefully and entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 17, 2025, in Bakersfield, CA. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Joaquin O. Ruiz and Enriqueta Juarez Ruiz, sister Dora Ruiz, and brother Marty Juarez.

He is survived by his four children, Stephanie Ruiz, Jamie Ruiz, Daniel Ruiz, and Celinda Ratzlaff, along with his cherished grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; brothers Rey Ruiz of Bakersfield and Joaquin Ruiz of Shafter; and sisters Lydia Ruiz of Wasco, Rose Maria Ruiz of Bakersfield, and Lupe Ruiz-Gonzalez of Bakersfield.

Danny graduated from Wasco Union High School in 1976, earning his nickname "Ghost" from his passion for track. He lived in Lodi and devoted 33 years to the auto parts industry, working alongside Jerry Lawson. He loved barbequing, camping, Star Wars, collectibles, and spending time with family. Danny was a strong, genuine, selfless, kind-hearted individual who will be missed dearly.

A rosary reading and viewing will be held on Thursday, May 1, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco. Church services will be held on Friday, May 2, at 10 am at St. John's Catholic Church in Wasco.
