Dale Lee Chartier Transportation Dispatcher, 69 Published: Saturday, December 19, 2009 1:00 AM CST Dale Lee Chartier, a 15-year resident of Yucca Valley, died of cancer Dec. 15, 2009. He was 69 years old. He was born May 11, 1940, in Kan Ka Kee, Ill., to William E. and Ruth A. Chartier. Mr. Chartier was employed as a transportation dispatcher for 12 years. His hobbies included developing games, photography and computers. He was preceded in death by son Ross Chartier. He is survived by brothers Perry Chartier of New York, N.Y., and Allen Chartier of Tennessee; sister Sharon Chartier of Detroit, Mich.; son Randall Chartier of Paso Robles; daughters-in-law Tammy Chartier of Paso Robles and Amy Chartier of Yucca Valley; grandsons Chris Chartier of Oklahoma City, Okla., Wade Fielder of Paso Robles, Lance Chartier and Steven Chartier, both of Illinois; granddaughters Rachel Ross of Morongo Valley, April Jimenez of Eagle Mountain, Utah, Rebekka Chartier of Yucca Valley and Ashley Fielder of Paso Robles; and great-granddaughters Teagan and Hadyn Ross of Morongo Valley and Keilee Strickland of Paso Robles. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Dec. 19 at Wiefels and Son, Pastor Jerel Hagerman of the Joshua Springs Calvary Chapel officiating.
