Consuelo was born in Midland Texas, July 1, 1921to her parents Patricio and Francisca Carrasco. Consuelo and Pedro were married for 40 yearsand established a home in Shafter when she was 24years old and devoted her time to raising her evergrowing family. Consuelo's passion was her familyand her faith. She spent much of her timevolunteering often at the Local Catholic Church.Consuelo enjoyed dancing and later on lookedforward to her trips to the casino. Consuelo was preceded in death by her parents,and three children, Mateo, Elida and Edward. She issurvived by her children, Judy (Richard) Paulsen,Pete (Betty) Gonzales, Henry (Alma) Gonzales, Elida(Joe) Capilla, Belinda (Al) Capilla, 20 grandchildren,25 great grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank her care givers atGolden Living in Shafter for their special care. A viewing will be held at Peters in Shafter 844 E.Lerdo Hwy. Sunday, October 2nd from 5-8 with the rosary at 6 pm. A Mass willbe held at Christ the King Church at 1800 Bedford Way, Bakersfield, 93308 at 9am October 3rd and interment following at Shafter Memorial Park 18662 SantaFe Way, Shafter.
