Obituary

Concepsion Gonzales Sandoval born December 22, 1913 in Chihuahua, Mexico was brought as a baby to Ysleta, Texas. A young and energetic "Concha" went to work at Rancho Benet, New Mexico, where she met Henry Gonzales, a ranch worker. They married, traveled and then settled to raise a family in Wasco California. The couple worked in the fields. Concha later worked at Armstrong Nurseries. She will be remembered as a strong and independent woman, who achieved many things, including becoming a U.S. Citizen. Concha volunteered at the WADD store and a St. Johns Catholic school. She joins her husband; son Henry Jr., daughter Ruth and two babies in their eternal home. She is survived by her daughters: Marie, Mary Ann, Emily, and Sylvia. Also leaving behind her grandchildren Julie and Fernando Villagran, Greg and Erika Romo, Gabriel and Noami Romo, Jessie and Annie, Chris, Michael, Steve, Renee and Todd Yelp. Consepsion also left behind great grandchildren; Felisha, Nano, Anika, Mia, Mateo, Olivia, Maddie, Damian, Haley, Josh, Marissa, Stevie, Crystal, Nick, and Gina. Lastly her great great grandchildren Michelle and Gigi. The family would also like to thank Teresa Pruitt her caregiver. She will be greatly missed by many and may she rest in peace. Viewing will be held March 2, 2015 at Peters Funeral in Wasco From 6pm to 8pm Mass will be held March 3, 2015 at St. John's Catholic Church Wasco 10am.
