Clayton Carl Hurst age 44 from Shafter, CA passed away on July 8th from an accidental drowning in the Kern River. Clayton Carl Hurst was born in Bakersfield, CA on May 25th 1969 to his father Doyle Dale Hurst from Oklahoma and his mother Helen Marie Hurst from Texas. He enjoyed his years on this earth serving his many friend and family. He loved going to the river and spending time outdoors with his loved ones. A very generous man, he was always willing to give, expecting nothing in return. The satisfaction of living life in the moment is what made his happiest. He was a big fixture in his family and community, a void that will never be replaced. Clayton Carl Hurst is survived by his Mother Helen Hurst and Father Doyle Hurst along with his sister Rebecca and his brother Keith and his wife Desiree. Services were under the direction of Peters Funeral Home in Shafter, CA. The viewing for Clayton will be held on Sunday July 21, 2013 from 12-5pm at Peters Funeral Home Chapel and his memorial service will be on Monday July 22, 2013 at 10am.
