Clarence B. Jackson was born October 22, 1917 to Irene (Ellis) and Edward Jackson in Mora Minessota. Clarence was raised in Washington State, he came to Shafter in 1948. Clarence served his country during World Ward II. He worked for Bergman Farms for many years. Clarence enjoyed fishing and hunting, he was a member of Full Gospel Church Wasco Clarence was preceded in death by his wife Irene Self in 1990. Clarence is survived by his son Herb and his wife Dee Jackson of Yucca Valley, daughter, Lena and husband Willard King of Bakersfield, sisters; Ellenor Frisk, Ellen Doekings, and Erma Shannon all of Washington, seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren A Funeral service will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at 11 am for Clarence B. Jackson, age, 91, of Wasco, who passed away July 12, 2009 in Bakersfield. Pastor Bonnie Morrison of Full Gospel Church Wasco will officiate the service and interment will follow at Shafter Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home Shafter on Friday, July 17, 2009 from 2 pm to 8 pm.
