On March 22, 2021 the Lord called home one of his Angels, my daughter Christine Joyce and the world lost a generously gifted, loving and trusting humanitarian and another bright light was lost from our lives. Christine was an inspiring writer with a keen sense of the importance of truth, love and simplicity and curiousity. In her short life she was first published at age 12. She was a skilled horsewoman, pianist and scholar earning the Presidential Award for Academic Achievement and a lifetime membership in the National Honor Society. She could speak , read and write in French. She loved learning, especially those subjects relating to the human condition. She was raised in Nowthen, Minnesota on a small horse farm. And she was a Country Girl at heart. She trusted people with the same trust she had for her horses because she only saw the goodness in others. She was quick to forgive and trust again because she only saw the goodness in others. She had a bright and gentle smile with soft eyes. If you were lucky enough to know her, if she smiled at you and took you into those big blue eyes you knew you were loved. But to me Christine was and will forever be my loved and cherished daughter. She was a pleasure to raise. I will forever be honored to have had the opportunity to raise her and her loving and gentle way will remain in my heart until the day we meet again. I love you and will miss you as long as you are gone from me. Thank you for the joy you brought in me. Christine leaves behind a large family and many friends. Among them are her brothers John, Greg and Katie, Nicole and Taylor and her best friend Kelly. My apologies to those not mentioned by name but she loved you all.
