Christina V. Ramirez was born in Bakersfield on December 26, 1984 to Rafael and Maria (Acosta) Verdugo. She was married to Ernesto Ramirez and they were raising three sons. She was a cancer warrior for many years. Christina was 29 years old when she passed away on July 17, 2014. Christina is survived by her husband Ernesto Ramirez; sons Ernesto Jr., Jonathan, and Jesus; Her parents Rafael and Maria Verdugo; sisters Monica (Frank) Lerichi, Anayaci (Tony) Ramirez; brothers Juan and Guillermo (Jessica) Verdugo; 7 nieces; 11 nephews; and one favorite cousin Nelly Verdugo. Mass of Christian Burial was officiated by Father David Enriquez on Wednesday July 23, 2014 at 10am at St. Therese Catholic Church in Shafter. A visitation was held on Tuesday July 22, 2014 at 4 pm with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home Chapel.
