Christa Arianna Hernandez was born September 7, 2008 in Bakersfield to Elia Minerva (Villalvazo) and Vicente Hernandez. She was a bundle of joy and the sunshine of her family. She was only here for a few short months but captured the hearts of many and shared her beautiful smile with all who looked her way. Lord, today an angel is by your side. We will always remember her like an Angel send by you to keep us happy and these few months that we cherish with her. Today our life continues, but we will always have her in our hearts. When we look up in the sky, and we see the smallest star shining we'll know it's her, because that's what she was. She was the smallest star but with her smile she made anyone happy. She was an angel that was capable of lighting our family and others. From the first moment that you would see her, she would fill you with a special light that was in her. She had a charisma that it would make anybody fall in love with her. Lord only you know why things happen, but we know something for sure that death is only the beginning of a new life besides you. Now your kingdom of Angels reunites with a new member, because now she's happy by your side enjoying your happiness. Please give her a strong hug on our behalf because she will never be by our side again. In every song that the birds sing in the morning, in every leaf the wind blows, in every breeze that brushes our face, in every flower that blooms, we will know that it's her presence that comforts us. Christa is survived by both her parents, Elia Minerva and Vicente Hernandez, sisters Melissa and Diana Villalvazo; grandparents, Rosalina Villalvazo Alonso and Oscar Gutierrez Valdovinoz, Antonia Cobaruvias Quinonez and Isais Hernandez Osorio. Graveside services for Christa Arianna Hernandez, age 8 months, were Monday, June 8, 2009 at 10 am at Shafter Memorial Park with Father Pedro Umana of St. Therese's Catholic Church officiating.
