Charlotte Borjon Hanes was born June 18, 1945 in Wasco, California to Urbano and Margaret "Mama" Borjon. On March 31, 2022 Charlotte peacefully passed away as she was surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Wasco, California where she attended high school and graduated in 1963. Charlotte married Sam Hanes on October 15, 1976 and spent 48 wonderful years together. She worked for The Department of Corrections as a procurement specialist for 20 years before retiring to spend more time with the ones she loved. Charlotte, a devout Catholic was a dedicated wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt and daughter. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers (George, Art and Bob). She is survived by her husband (Sam), two sons (Kevin and Danny), daughter (Staci), three grandchildren (Ashley, Jacob and Avery), great grandchild (Bryce), two brothers and six sisters (Ernie, Arnold, Julie, Marti, Peggy, Adele, Lupe and Jeannie). Charlotte enjoyed being surrounded by the love and company of her entire family. Her home cooked meals, laughs and hugs will be missed by everyone who was blessed to know her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Charlotte to The American Cancer Society and St. Jude's Hospital.
