Charlie Theo Tiner, age 94, passed to Heaven on Sunday, December 26, 2021. He is survived by his daughter, Evelyn "Evie" Hedman of Titusville, FL; son, Daryl Tiner of Wasco, CA; Daughter-in-Law, Sandy Tiner of Bakersfield. He was loved dearly by 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi; daughter, Charlene; son, Charles Wayne; four brothers and two sisters. Charlie was born January 7, 1927 in Lula, Oklahoma and came to California as a teenager. After serving in the Army, Charlie met and married his wife, Naomi in 1948. They were married for 71 years. They raised their family in Wasco, California where Charlie retired as head of transportation for the Wasco Union School District. Charlie was a man of deep faith in God. He was active in church leadership in the Church of the Nazarene and Westside Family Fellowship. He will be remembered with love and respect by all who knew him.
