Catherine L. Quinn, age 80, Yucca Valley, California, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Freeman West Hospital in Missouri. Catherine was born March 3, 1928 in Breckenridge, Missouri, daughter of the late Raymond Samuel Goodman and Hazel Maxine Bowers Goodman. She graduated from high school and married George W. Quinn on December 23, 1945 he preceded her in death in 1995. Survivors include two sons, Terry Quinn and wife Lea of LaVerne, California, and Daryl Quinn and Wife Beth of Joplin, Missouri; two daughters, Jackie Quinn of Desert Hot Springs, California, and Candy Quinn of Lamar, Missouri; brother, Jim Goodman and wife Donna of Mt. Grove, Missouri; four sisters, Kitty Brewer of Harrisonville, Missouri, Thelma Lee Greene of Robert, Georgia, Kay of Illinois, and Martha Bell Burke of Grandview, Missouri; grandchildren, April, Karl, Robert, Dean, Kristine, Julie, Shawn, Holly, Justin, Nathaniel, Houston, Maylen, Riley, Marlee, and Olivia. Services were held on Friday, January 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel in Joplin, Missouri with Rev. Bob Stafford officiating. Visitation Services will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2009 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Wiefels Yucca Valley Funeral Chapel in Yucca Valley, California. Graveside Service will be held Thursday, January 22, 2009 9:15 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery Staging Area #4 in Riverside, California.
