Catherine Flora Morgan March 1, 1927 – January 13, 2016 Cathy was born in Antlers, Oklahoma, in 1927, she met and married Leon "Red" Morgan in 1943, Magnolia Mississippi. Then they moved to Shafter California and lived for over 60 years, both were very involved in their community She was responsible for building the veterans memorial wall resting in the Shafter Cemetary. She is proceeded in death by husband Leon Morgan and sons James and David. She is survived by her daughters Pat Lawrence (Jim) and Cheryl Gibson. She was loved by lots of grandchildren, Renee Lawrence, Andy Lawrence (Patty), Pattrick Ray (Missy), Samuel Ray (Cara), James Morgan (Lahoma), Cheryl Montgomery, Shawnette Frost (Jason), Christy Mckinney (Clint). Cathy was blessed to have many great grandkids she loved them all dearly and called there Nana. She was also loved by all of her adopted family in Shafter and Bakersfield. May she always rest in peace. Funeral Services will be held at the Peters Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday January 19, 2016 at 11am preceded by visitation on Monday January 18, 2016 from 4-7pm at Peters Funeral Home Chapel.
