Carolyn Jones was born in Bakersfield, California on September 4, 1936 to Paul Michael & Frankie Jane (Roderick) Powell. Carolyn was 77 years old when she passed away on April 8, 2014 in Shafter, California. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter C. Jones, her parents, her brother Paul M. Powell Jr. and sister Betty J. Powell. Carolyn is survived by her sister Gerry Rische and her daughter Carrie L. Armstrong, son-in-law James Armstrong and her granddaughter Mackenzie T. Armstrong. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Graveside service was held at Greenlawn River Boulevard Cemetery on Monday April 14, 2014 at 11am.
