Carolyn was born in Wasco, Ca on June 5, 1941 to proud parents Oral and Vida Dixon. Carolyn grew up in Wasco, where she attended local schools. While attending Wasco High School, shesang in a womens gospel quartet. She married her first husband in December of 1959 and raised 3 children. During those years she had various jobs. She married the love of her life, Steven Beatty in 1982 and had 30 wonderful years together. During their years together Carolyn and Steve served in church together and worked on Kids Music Camps together every summer in Wasco along with long time friends. Carolyn loved serving in her church where she played the piano and served in other areas where needed. Carolyn was a loving, kind, caring and generous mom and grandmother. Carolyn always put her family above herself. Carolyn went home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2018, with loved ones by her side. Carolyn is survived by her three children: Elaine Carroll and husband David Carroll, Jackie Kent, Sheridan Kent and wife Paula Kent; 15 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren. Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, Steven Beatty.
