Carol was born in Georgia on April 16, 1939 to Jesse James and Jane South. She grew up in Georgia were she attended the local schools and was a High School graduate. Carol was a very ambitious in everything that she did. She worked in health care as a Certified Nurse Assistant were she was dedicated to helping others in need. Carol was a loving person who cherish her time spent with her family and God. She was very religious and would go to church every Sunday. Carol was devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her family and cared deeply for each and every one of them. On September 28, 2015, Carol passed away. She leaves behind her husband William Mansikka, 5 wonderful children, 17 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Interment will be held at Desert Memorial Park at Ridgecrest, California.
