Carl Julius Moore passed away on July 4 at the age of 73. He was born in Rose, Oklahoma March 31, 1943 to Albert and Melvie Moore. His family moved to California in the early 1950s. In 1963 he met the love of his life Betty Soto Working at the Maple Leaf Potato Shed in Wasco,. They married in December of 1965. Carl worked for the City of Wasco and retired in 1997 after 26 years. He was best known as the Street Sweeper. He loved Barbecuing for the family, Telling stories, Fishing, Gardening, Riding around reminiscing about the good ole days, loved watching Western Cowboys and NASCAR. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years Betty Moore, daughter Lisa Villagomez and husband Salvador Villagomez, Son Thomas Moore and wife Delilah Moore and daughter Carmel Moore. Six grandchildren Jessica, Sal, Karisa, Marcus, Felipe and Liliana. Sister Dovie Hazelwood and husband Anthony Hazlewood, brother Jesse Moore. He was preceded in death by his Parents Albert and Melvie, sister Bessie , brothers Charley Johnny and Robert Moore Carl will be deeply missed by his family and friends Viewing will be Tuesday July 12th from 2:00pm - 8:00pm At Peters Funeral Home in Wasco- A rosary will be said at 6:00pm during the viewing. Funeral will be Wednesday July 13th starting at 10:00am at St Johns Church and Graveside Services will follow
