Carl Clark, of Wasco California, went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2018. Carl was born in England, Arkansas on Feb 7, 1935 to Elizabeth and Virgil Clark. Carl moved to California in 1951 where he met the love of his life Kay Ashmore. Carl and Kay married on July 23, 1954 and went to have three beautiful children Steve, Mickie, and Brent. He is preceded in death by his oldest son Carl Steven Clark, his parents and Sister Marie Criner. Carl is survived by his wife of 64 years Kay Clark, daughter Mickie and Charles Wedel, son Brent and Sarah Clark, grandchildren Stevie and Dennis Clark; Jeff, Jeremy, Nick and Chris Wedel; JC, Jenna, and Justin Clark, 14 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Carl worked in agriculture for 55 years whether it was shucking potatoes, harvesting almonds, or working at Frank Russell's where he would eventually retire after 24 years. But retirement could not keep him off a tractor for the next five years as he worked with his son in law Charles Wedel. Carl had many aliases such as Grandpa, Papa, Papa Jo Jo or the infamous Fagin. You would often catch him at a Tiger football, softball, or baseball game depending on the time of year, church on Sundays, or you could catch him driving by your house slowly checking up on you. The Clark and Wedel family want to thank everyone for the love and support that has been shown towards our loving Husband, Father, and Grandfather. A special thank you to Jim Firsich for being Carl's devoted friend and travel partner and to Bradley parrot for being an unofficial grandchild; with the hand you have lended; our family will forever be grateful.
