Candace (Candy) Stewart, born December 22, 1945 in Alhambra, California. Passed away June 24, 2021 in Bakersfield California, after a long battle with cancer surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerry Stewart, son, Jason Stewart (Karolin), daughter, Jenna Grundt (Chris) and grandkids, Brandon, Max, Jalie, Charlie, Stella and Alex. Candy was an original city girl from southern California who moved to country life in the early 70's to raise a family on a farm with animals, crops and love. She was a very loving wife, mom, and friend to many. She was extremely active in her kids school, sports, 4-H and FFA activities. Her life was not only her kids, but a ranch style work ethic which she passed on to her kids and grandkids through example. Being a grandma was her pride and joy with many journeys to visit them. She cared about everyone and unselfishly volunteered whenever possible. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with and influenced many lives throughout her life. She will be missed by many around the world. Her devotion to her family and others will live on in their hearts forever.
