Obituary

Camille Verner Bell was born on April 21, 1917 in Austin, Arkansas to Mattie (Griffin) Reveley. She was one of six children. Camille worked as a Nurse's Aide for 22 years and she lived in Kern County for 59 years. Camille V. Bell is preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard Colbert, Willie Bell; son, Charles "Chock" Colbert, sister, Lucille Wilburn, infant brother, two brothers, Coleman Revely, and Robert Reveley, nephew , Junior Reveley, and niece Billie L. Reveley. She is survived by his daughter-in-law Barbara Colbert of Reseda, sister, Pauline Henson of Arkansas, two grandchildren, Gary Colbert , Denise Colbert, two great-grandchildren; nieces, Bobbie Jean Horn, Linda Henson, Donna Henson, Johnnie Bess Reveley; nephews, Jack Wilburn, Richard Reveley, Bud Henson and Jimmie Reveley. A graveside funeral service under the direction of Peters Funeral Home will be held at Wasco Memorial Park on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 1 pm for Camille Bell, age 93, of Wasco, who passed away September 18, 2010 in Bakersfield. Pastor John Ross will officiate the service and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 2-8 pm.
