Brian Keith McDonald passed away in the early morning of January 23, 2014. He was born to Judy Lawrence and Keith McDonald, on June 8, 1969, in Wasco, California and graduated from Wasco High School in 1987. After graduation he joined the U.S. Army where he served for four years as a counter intelligence agent while also getting a degree in business administration. In 1990 he married Shawn Fimple, the mother of two of his children. After the military he moved to Bakersfield, California where he lived for six years before moving back to his home town of Wasco, California. In 2005, Brian was remarried to the love of his life, Erin Borjon-Robledo and together they formed the beautiful family they have today. In 2012 Brian began working at Bakersfield Pipe Supply as a general warehouse manager. Brian was passionate about his service in the military, and his job at BPS, but even more passionate about his family, and being a father. Brian loved to fish, spend time with his family, and listen to rock n' roll, especially AC/DC. Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ozena Bryant, Charles Lawrence, and Louis Bryant, as well as his father Keith McDonald. Those left to honor his memory are his loving wife Erin McDonald, his mother Judy Ball, his four children, Kara McDonald, Mark Robledo, Cameron McDonald, and Sarah Robledo, and his mother-in-law, Earlene 'Nana' Borjon, as well as other numerous relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held Friday, February 7, at 10am at St. John's Church, Wasco, followed by interment at 1:15pm at Bakersfield National Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 6 at Peters Funeral Home, Wasco from 4pm to 8pm.
