Brian DeWayne Jones 49, of Shafter, California, passed away on January 19, 2023.

He was born on September 18, 1973, in Wasco, California, to Gary and Vonnie Jones. He graduated from Shafter High School and went on to pursue a career as a Diesel mechanic. Brian was a well- respected mechanic, as he was known to be able to fix anything with an engine.

Brian enjoyed being outside and doing anything to get his hands dirty. He also enjoyed riding horses and teampenning with his family and playing golf. He enjoyed following his children in all their school events, sporting events, and livestock shows. He found passion in volunteering with his brothers and sisters of Jesus Saves International Church.

Brian found pride in being a father to two daughters: Alexis Jones and Makaela Jones and to a son: Joshua Hickle and his wife Lindsey Hickle. From his children he had two beautiful grandchildren: Remington King and Shiloh Hickle that he adored.

In addition to his children and grandchildren, Brian is survived by his brothers Michael Jones and wife Hannah Jones, brother Jeffrey Jones, along with nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Vonnie Jones.

A memorial of life will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Saltys Banquet and Event Center
