Arvin Funeral Home will conduct a funeral service, Wednesday, December 28, at 2:00pm at the outdoor chapel at South Kern Cemetery District, Arvin for Bonnie Powers, age 65, of Bakersfield who passed away December 23, in Bakersfield. Pastor Jim Glasco and Pastor Jeff Carlin will officiate and interment will follow. Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Bonnie S. Powers went to join our lord on December 23, 2006. She is survived by her husband, Donald Wayne Powers of 49 years; her, brother Danny Dickerson; her four daughters, Tina Lampkin, Terry Osborn, Lori Long, Karen Richmond; her son, David Powers; 17 grandchildren, 11great-grandchildren with three more on the way and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her very much. We will always love her and to us she is not gone we will speak of her as if she is here with us because she is. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Pearl Dickerson; her brother Bryson Dickerson and her grandmother Ella Dickerson.
