Bonnie Jean Dorsey, a 75 year resident of the state of California, and a 25 year resident of the town of Yucca Valley, California, passed away of natural causes, March 4, 2010, at her home. She was 79 years old. The daughter of Clarence Nickeson and Minnie Albers, she was born August 22, 1930, in Beatrice, Nebraska. Bonnie was preceeded in death by both her parents, her first husband Ray Galewski, and second husband Alfred Dorsey. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Johnson of Long Beach, California; son-in-law David Johnson of Long Beach, California; grandson's Matt & Travis Johnson of Long Beach, California; sister Sandy McKnight of Bakersfield, California; sister Toni Adare of Sun Valley, Idaho; brother Marvin Nickeson of Victorville, California; and step-son Tom Dorsey. Bonnie worked as an accoutant and office manager for Dorsey Contracting for 25 years. In her retirement years she was a water areobics teacher at the Stroke Recovery Center in Palm Springs, California. She also volunteered as a cook and an organizer for the Gates of Spain Mobile Estates in Yucca Valley, California. Many of her beloved past times included bowling, cooking, sewing, and knitting. Her family considered her the best mother and grandmother in the world. She will be deeply and affectionately missed by all her friends and family. Memorial Service: CA CA
