Bobby Ray Walker was born September 27, 1939 in Lazear, Colorado to William and Almeta Walker. He passed away October 30, 2017 in Shafter, California. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Cynthia Walker, sons, Rick (Gina) Walker, Bill (Glynnetta) Walker, Kelley (Sandra) Walker, Tony Walker, daughter, Michelle (Rob) Pickinpaugh, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and sister, Melba Kennedy. Bobby was an avid fisherman. He had a passion for woodworking and making knives. He had a wonderful sense of humor. The family would like to give a special Thank You to Dr. J Foster Campbell, Julia and Marlene from Optimal Home Health Care, Sarah, Ashley and Annie from Hoffman Hospice and the nursing staff from the 8th floor at USC Medical Center. Visitation is Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 4-8pm at Peters Funeral Home, Shafter. Memorial Service is Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11:30am at First Southern Baptist Church of Shafter.
