On September 15, 2013, The Lord called Billie (Rankin) Thurman home. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7) Billie Thurman was born September 3, 1935 in Bakersfield CA. Her family moved to Shafter, California in 1933, for a short while finally settling in Wasco, California. Billie graduated from Wasco High School . Billie was formally married to Randal Rankin for 19 years and had three daughters Cherylee Wegman Craig, Carol Terry, and Julie Nadal. Billie is survived by ; sister Wanda Mouser of Duck Creek UT, daughters Cherylee and Warren Craig of Wasco, Carol & Vard Terry of Bakersfield, Julie & Aaron Nadal of Bakersfield, she also has 7grandchildren, and 2 Great grandchildren . Billie was preceded by death her Mother, Birdie Thurman and father, Elmer Thurman. A graveside service will be conducted by Peters Funeral Home on Thursday, September 19, at 10am at Wasco Memorial Cemetery.
