Bill Bradley was born August 22, 1916 in Lipan, Texas one of 6 children born to Birty (Hunt) and J.T. Bradley. He moved to Shafter in 1946 and began his career in farming. Bill married Shirley E. Van Oven in 1982 and she preceded him in death in 1997. He was also preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Jack, Opal, Retha, Leslie and Ruby. Bill is survived by his children, Raymond Tibbals and Sherry Studdard; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and many other loving family members. A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 29 at Peters Funeral Home for Bill Bradley, age 96, of Shafter who passed away November 24, 2012 in Shafter. Chaplain Steve with Optimal Hospice will officiate the service and interment will follow at Shafter Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 28 from 2pm to 8pm at Peters Funeral Home.
