Obituary

Beulah Lawler went to meet her Lord and Savior on March 10, 2008, at the age of 97, in Visalia, California. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandma, great grandma and great-great grandma. She was born to Jason and Nora Smith on July 25, 1910 with twin sister Eulah. She married Harvey Lawler on August 4, 1928 in Reno, Nevada. Shortly after marrying they moved to Alpaugh and started their family. She would get up early for her coffee, her daily prayer and bible reading; she also enjoyed sewing, purse making and crocheting items for her family and friends. Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Lawler; son, Olen Lawler, and daughter Geraldine and husband George Akers. She is survived by her son, Harold and wife, Jeanette Lawler of Rainier, Oregon; son, Jay and wife, Hilda Lawler of Visalia, California; brothers, Paul Smith of Modesto, California, Ralton Smith of Kodak, Tennesee; her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 13 from 2-8pm at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco. Graveside services are to be held Friday, March 14, 2008 at 2 pm at the Wasco Memorial Park.
