IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Betty Gail
Noah
October 17, 1945 – May 4, 2016
Betty Gail Noah October 17, 1945 – May 4, 2016 Betty Gail Noah, age 71, passed away on May 4, 2016. Betty is survived in death by two sons, Joseph Ruff of Washington State and Demetrio Flores of Mexicali, Mexico. Betty also has 4 grandchildren: Ihana Flores of Mexicali, Pierce Flores, Selena Flores, and Joshua Flores all of Lamont, Calif., and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband Alberto Flores of Mexicali, Mexico. Betty was born October 17, 1945 in Modesto, Calif. to Earl Britt and Willie Jeanette Cross. She was later adopted by her step-father Clayburn Noah. She is survived by her two sisters, Janice Kennedy of Bakersfield and Joyce Peoples of Lamont. Betty lived in many different places before the family settled in Lamont, Calif. Betty is a graduate of Arvin High School class of 1965. She lived 27 years in Mexicali, Mexico with her second husband before returning to Lamont upon his death, and eventually settling in Bakersfield where she resided at the time of her death. Betty enjoyed arts and crafts and could frequently be found sitting outside drawing. She loved nature and gardening. She was also active with her church until her health no longer allowed her to attend services. Betty will be missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, love, and generosity live on in all of our memories. She will be laid to rest in the Arvin/Lamont cemetery near her mother and grandmother. The family would like to thank the staff of Manchester Manor in Los Angeles for their compassionate care of our loved one while she was there the last few weeks of her life. It was difficult having her so far from home, but the kindness and consideration displayed by the entire staff made it easier. Knowing that she was receiving excellent care put our hearts and minds at ease.
