Betty Louise Davenport Homemaker, 74 Betty Louise Davenport, a 22-year resident of Landers, California, passed away September 5, 2009. A native to Tuttle, Oklahoma, she was born September 8, 1934. She was a Member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 1373 for 22 years. Prior to retiring to Landers, she was a 35 year resident of Anaheim, California. While living in Anaheim, she was an active member of the Anaheim Police Officer's Wives Club and worked as a Bookkeeper in Real Estate Development. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard W. Davenport; her brother Ernie Harris; her daughters and sons-in-law, Sandi and Alan Thibodeau, Robby and Eddie Whited, Linda and Glenn Mincher; and her grandchildren, Adam Possemato, Michaelyn Possemato, Raechael Whited and Claire Mincher. Betty fought a long battle, and her courage and positive attitude was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed, but forever in the hearts of her family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 12, 2009, 1:00 p.m., at Wiefels Yucca Valley Funeral Chapel, with a one hour viewing prior. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
