Beta Lou Price was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma on November 16, 1932 to Zuelma (Smith and Samuel Royal. She came to California with her family in 1943 at the age of 11 and attended the local schools in Arvin. She was a homemaker, loved her family and friends. Always there for support when ever anyone needed anything, she was available. She married Charles Price in 1951 and they had their two children. As a homemaker Beta was always ready to greet them when they came home from school. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Charles Jackson, Johnny and Arvil; sister, Mattie and survived by her husband, Charles Daniel Price, of 58 years; sons, Randell and wife Connie, Gerald Price; brothers Ben and Tommy; sisters Micky and Sharon; grandchildren Jacen and Rebecca; great-grandchildren; Devon, Caleb, Carter, Kylie and Calvin; many nieces, nephews and friends. A Graveside Service is scheduled for Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 1:00pm with Brother Dennis Mantooth of Apostolic Tabernacle officiating, at South Kern Cemetery District. Visitation will be held Monday, November 23, 2009 from 2 to 8 pm at Arvin Funeral Home Chapel.
