Bernice Lenda Barker February 26, 1915 –February 24, 2012 Bernice was born on February 26, 1915 in Clarita, OK, to Robert and Ada Daniel. She passed away on February 20, 2012, in Placerville, CA, at the age of 96. Bernice was a wonderful cook, her family will always remember her vegetable stew especially. She was a giving and generous woman, who loved to take care of the entire family. Bernice is survived by her daughter, Donna Miller; sisters, Arvilla Harris and Lena Howard; 2 grandchildren, Duane Miller and Karen Thatcher; 3 great grandchildren, Terra Thatcher, Robert "Skippy" Thatcher and Jeremy Miller, numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Bernice was held on February 24, 2012, at 1:00 pm, followed by the Interment at Shafter Memorial Park.
