Benigno Villegas-Guerrero was born on May 21, 1931 in Michoacan, Mexico, to Anna and Julio Villegas. He was raised in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico and then he moved to California with his family. He married Maria (Olalde) in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico and had six children. Benigno worked as a machine operator for a paper manufacturing for 10 years. Benigno Villegas-Guerrero was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Fortino Villegas; sister, Dolores Villegas. He is survived by his sons, Luis Villegas, Jaime Villegas, and Armando Villegas; daughters, Ana Maria Villegas, Alicia Villegas, and Patricia Villegas; brothers, Jesus Villegas, Fidel Villegas, Manuel Villegas; sisters, Natalia Villegas, and Dolores Villegas; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A gravesise service under the direction of Arvin Funeral Home will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 2pm at South Kern Cemetery District for Benigno Vilegas-Guerrero, age 79, of Arvin, who passed away on November 16, 2010 in Bakersfield. A memorial service will be held at The Kings Hall Jehovah Witness Church at 6pm. Pastor Julio Martines will officiated the services.
