Barbara Janice Jones was born on 11‐24‐44 in Ventura California and passed away in Arvin California on 1‐8‐2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Jessie Russell, her Brothers, Jackie and Butch, her sister Frances, her husband of 51 years, Billy Jones, her daughters, Angela Jones and Lisa Oliver, her son, Randy Jones, her granddaughter, Leslie Oliver and her great‐granddaughter, Destiny Delarosa. Together Barbara and her husband created quite a legacy, as she is survived in death by many: Her siblings ‐ Linda Pumphrey, Edna McGuire, Brenda and Eddie Ray Russell Her nieces that she loved as though they were her children – Queta Negrete, Lynn Cooper, Kay Dennis Her children ‐ Richard and Kelly Jones and family from Arvin, California; Rebecca and Jose Peralez and family from Arvin, California; Cathy and Armando Lara and family from Pico Rivera, California and Greg Oliver and Family from Tennessee 26 grandchildren ‐ Ashley and Luke Steadman; Travis and Rachel Oliver; Amber Salazar and Stephen Smith; Rebecca Jones; Randy and Mikki Jones; Erica and Freddy Aceves; Richard and Crystal Jones; Samantha Jones and Mario Vasquez; Elisha Jones; Aaron Peralez; Adrianna and Fidel Chavez; Ariel Peralez; Andrew Peralez; Ozzie Lara; Loren Jones; Billy Jones; Austin Lara and Alexis Lara 34 great‐grandchildren – Abbi, Nathan and Cara; Elijah and Abel; Addisyn and Gavin; Mercedes and Cynthia; Christopher, Gabriel, Destiny and Jacob; Jayden and Presley; Isabelle, Kaylene and Freddy; RJ, Savannah, Katelyn and Steven; Christine, Jolee, Samantha, Balto and Hunter; Jessye and Charlye; Anthony; Freddy and Gabby; Alessandra and baby Lara due in 3 weeks. Barbara was a home maker by choice, staying home to care for the kids while her husband went to work. Over the course of her life, she took care of many people, both family and non‐family members. She opened her home to many in need and was often referred to as everyone's Grandma. She loved country music, old and new. Although you are gone, you will never be forgotten.
