Arturo was born in Martinitos, Nuevo Leon on December 15, 1927 to Alfredo and Felicitas Benavides. On March 8, 1947 Arturo married the love of his life "Su Prieta" Anastacia Benavides. Arturo and Anastacia have 6 children Eleazar "Eleazarito",Lesvia "Mi cachorra", Ricardo "Mi Negro", Armando "Ojitos de perro", Norma"Mi Negrita" and Rudy "Mi coyotito". Arturo had 17 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. He was a really hard worker and was an amazing provider for his family. He loved maintaining his house and always kept his yard very clean. Listening to music and having large family gatherings always brought him happiness. Arturo always had his family laughing and loved to joke around with everyone. He loved to eat at Pico de Gallo, Ihop and Mcdonalds. Arturo looked forward to traveling to Martinitos each year to visit his loved ones. In his fifties he decided to give his life to the Lord and began to put God above all else, not a day would pass by that he didn't read his bible and spend time with the Lord. He lived a great life and will be extremely missed by his Prieta and all his family.
