Arthur Padilla was born February 10, 1946 in Santa Barbara, California to Delfina(Lopez) and Anthony Padilla. He was raised in Madera and came to Wasco in the 1980's. He worked in the oilfields for 20 years before moving back to Madera. Arthur was a kind-hearted man who would give the shirt off his back to help a friend. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, fixing watches, making jewelry and watching the 49er's play. He is survived by his wife, Marina Padilla; son, Arthur Padilla Jr.; daughter, Patricia and husband Frank Perez; grandchildren, Abel, Dominique and Mercedez Reyes, Frankie Jay Perez and Alyiaha Marie Padilla. He will be missed by many. A visitation will be held Monday, June 7 from 2pm to 8pm at Peters Funeral Home, Wasco. Inurnment will be private.
