Mr. Arnold W. Anderson, a 49 year resident of California and a 25 year resident of Yucca Valley died on Dec. 18, 2008 at home. He was 84 years old. The son of Carl A. and Anna C. (Brostrom) Anderson, Mr. Anderson was born Jan. 21, 1924, in Minnesota. He was preceded in death by wife Shirley E. Anderson after 50 years of marriage. Mr. Anderson is survived by Daughters Karen Garcia of Yucca Valley, Calif., and LaVonne Cook of Athol, Idaho, son Mark Anderson of Biloxi, Miss., niece Donna Valdez of Yucca Valley, Calif., grand-daughter Heather Garcia of Morongo Valley, Calif., 4 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. He retired after 60 years of being a Carpenter with Marwin Construction.
