Arnaldo "Arny" Gutierrez was born in Bakersfield, California on January 27, 1990 to Enrique Gutierrez and Magdalena Arevalo. Arnaldo lived in Wasco all of his life, having attended local schools and graduating from Wasco High School with the Class of 2008. The third born of four children, Arnaldo stood out from his siblings. Using his humor and sarcasm, he could tease you in just the right way where you would end up laughing at yourself too. Arnaldo enjoyed being an uncle, godfather and son; often visiting and spending his time playing with his nieces and nephew. Arnaldo was focused on his career goals, working as a security guard to gain some ground-level experience in the field of law enforcement while attending Bakersfield College. He ultimately wanted to become a U.S. Marshall. Arny's sudden and unexpected death has left a void in the hearts of loved ones, but also leaves them with beautiful memories and the example of pursuing your dreams. Arnaldo will be greatly missed. Arnaldo Gutierrez is survived by his mother, Magdalena Arevalo; father, Enrique Gutierrez; brothers, Juan Dominguez Arevalo and wife Kayla, Enrique Arevalo and wife Nataly; sister, Magdalena Gutierrez; long time loving girlfriend, Adriana Ramirez; 5 nieces, 1 nephew; as well as other family members and friends. Arnaldo Gutierrez passed away at the age of 22 on Thursday, August 23, 2012 in Wasco, California. Visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 from 10am to 12pm with at Rosary beginning at 11am. A graveside service will follow at Wasco Memorial Park at 1pm.
