Armandina was born January 3, 1926 in Melchor Ocampo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Antonio and Guadalupe (Gonzalez) Flores. She married Guadalupe F. Lopez in 1945 and they moved to Arvin in 1965. Armandina worked seasonally for John J. Kovacevich Farms for over 20 years. She loved a clean home and enjoyed keeping it pristine. Armandina loved perfumes and sprayed her pillows to enjoy the smell while sleeping. She also loved working in her garden planting flowers. Armandina and her husband Guadalupe traveled to Texas and Mexico to visit family and friends, Guadalupe preceded her in death in March 2, 1999. Armandina is survived by her children, Ubaldo Lopez and wife Dora, Nereo Lopez and wife, Dominga, Jose Guadalupe Lopez, Manuela Lopez and husband Isauro and Marbelia De Leon and husband Maurileo, all of Arvin; brothers, Evaristo and Jorge, both of Texas; sisters, Ninfa, Isabel, Ramona, Armandina, all of Mexico and Belia, of Texas; 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Guadalupe and Elvira. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Sunday, May 4 at 5pm at Arvin Funeral Home and visitation will be held Sunday, May 4, from 2pm – 8pm. Burial will be at Municipal Cemeterio Melchor Ocampo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
