Arlene Clara Christiansen was born November 14, 1930 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Arle and Velma Nix. She passed away September 19, 2017 in Bakersfield, California. Arlene was a caregiver by nature, she genuinely enjoyed caring for people. She took care of everybody. She was a very kind, sweet lady. Arlene was predeceased by her loving husband, Hal Christiansen and her only child, Ricky Gibson. She is survived by her brother, Junior Nix of Bakersfield, Nephews, Richard (Ida) Nix, of Bakersfield, William Ray (Kim) Nix of Posey, Grandsons, Cory (Lauren) Nix, Kurtis Nix and Casey Nix. We all love her and will miss her.
