A memorial service for Aristeen "Arie" Clinton will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 31 at Yucca Valley Church of Christ, where Mrs. Clinton was a member. Minister John Turner will officiate at the service. Inurnment will be private. A 45-year resident of California and 25-year resident of Yucca Valley, Mrs. Clinton died Jan. 11, 2009, at Sky Harbor Care Center. She was 93. Born Jan. 12, 1915, in Arkansas, she was the daughter of Albert Herndon and Alice (Hoover) Herndon. She was self-employed as an interior designer for 30 years before she retired. Mrs. Clinton was preceded in death by her parents, brother Albert, and sisters Mabel, Freeda and Rose Marie. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, William G. "Bill" Clinton of Yucca Valley, daughter Faye Helen Weston of Newton, Mass., stepdaughter Sandra Lewis of Flagpond, Tenn., son Anthony Clinton of Covina, 11 grandchildren and her niece and nephew.
