Argelia Morales Burciaga was born May 25, 1957 in Texas to Gustavo and Elizabeth (Rodriguez) Morales. She came to California as a young child and was educated in the local public schools. Angie worked most of her life in agriculture and later in retail sales. In the last several years of her life she and her husband Guy Burciaga enjoyed family outings and doting on their grandchildren. It is sad to say she was very sick the last year of her life and knew and accepted that it was her time to be with the Lord. Argelia Burciaga is survived by her husband, Guy Burciaga; parents, Gustavo and Elizibeth Morales; children, Annette Carrasco, Adam Espericueta, Sergio Luevano, Donde Luevano, Angelica Luevano, and Issac Luevano; grandchildren, Fidel and William Carrasco, Edwin and Carlos Luevano; Siblings, Dora Espericueta, Eduardo Morales, Margarita Cantu, Gustavo Morales, Gracie Morales, Elizabeth Morales, Hilda Morales, Alvaro Morales, Ermilo Morales. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 28, at 10am at Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary, 620 Oregon for Angie Burciaga who passed away July 18, in Bakersfield after a long illness. English and Spanish services will be officiated by Pastors Cindy Garcia and Jiezi Cintron and Teresa Cintron of The Flame of Fire Outreach.
