Antonio V. Villarreal was born on June 13, 1925 in Huentitan Jalisco, Mexico to Maria and Ignacio Villarreal. Antonio came to Arizona in the 1960's and then he settled in Wasco in 1966. He worked as a farm laborer at Superior Farms and Basic Vegetable for many years. Antonio's nickname was "Mejor Nada". Antonio's favorite singer was Vicente Fernandez and loved listening to his music. He also liked sharing stories of his childhood in Huentitan, Mexico with his family and friends and was blessed to be able to visit them recently. Antonio liked listening to CB Radio and he was a fan of the "Los Rosaleros" group. Antonio was a member of Tuesday night prayer group at St. John's, Grupo de Oracion. Antonio V. Villarreal was preceded in death by his first wife Martina in 2001; parents, Maria and Ignacio; brother, Luis Villarreal in 1963. He is survived by his wife Bertha (Padilla) Villarreal; sons, Ignacio Villarreal and wife Magdalena, Chui Villarreal; daughters, Adela Flores and husband Benito, Amalia Cortez and husband Tilo, Sr. , Maria Villa and husband Luis, Veva Nunez and husband Genaro; sister, Rosario Gutierrez; 18 grandchildren, 35 grandchildren, 6 stepchildren and 14 step-grandchildren. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 6pm at St. John's Catholic Church for Antonio V. Villarreal, age 85, of Wasco, who passed away on January 22, 2011 in Bakersfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 10am at St. John's Catholic Church. Father John Fluetsch will officiate and interment will follow at the Wasco Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 2-8pm at Peters Funeral Home.Antonio V. Villarreal nació el 13 de Junio, 1925 en Huentitan Jalisco, Mexico ha Maria y Ignacio Villarreal. Antonio llego a Arizona en los años 60's y después se mudo a la ciudad de Wasco donde vivio con su familia por muchos años. El trabajo en la agricultura con la compañía Superior Farms por mucho tiempo. Antonio le encantaba escuchar música de Vicente Fernández, cuál era su artista favorito, también le gustaba mucho contar historias de de su infancia en su pueblo Huentitan, Mexico a su familia y amigos. Antonio le gustaba escuchar la estación de radio de CB y era fanatico del grupo "Los Rosaleros". Antonio también era miembro del grupo de oración de la Iglesia Catolica de San Juan. Antonio V. Villarreal es precedido en muerte pos sus padres; su primer esposa Martina (2001), padres, Marian y Ignacio; hermano; Luis Villarreal (1963). Le sobreviven su esposa Bertha (Padilla) Villarreal; hijos, Ignacio Villarreal y esposa Magdalena, Chui Villarreal; hijas, Adela Flores y esposo Benito, Amalia Cortez y esposo Tilo, Sr., Maria Villa y esposo Luis, Veva Nuñez y esposo Genaro; hermana, Rosario Gutierrez; 18 nietos y 35 biznietos; 6 hijastros y 14 nietos por parte su nueva esposa. Recitación del Santo Rosario será el Jueves, 27 de Enero, 2011 alas 6pm en la Iglesia Católica de San Juan para Antonio V. Villarreal, de 85 años, residente de Wasco, falleció el 22 de Enero, 2011 en Delano. Misa de Cuerpo Cristiano se celebrara el Viernes, 28 de Enero, 2011 a las 10am en la Iglesia Católica de San Juan. Padre John Fluetsch oficiara y el entierro será inmediatamente en el Cementerio Memorial de Wasco. Visitacion será el Jueves, 27 de Enero, 2011 de 2-5 pm en la Capilla de la Casa Funeraria Peters.
