Annette M. Castillo was a kind and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, and friend. She passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 64 after a 13 year long battle. Annette was born to Angel and Madeline Barbosa on May 4, 1959. She attended St. John's Catholic School and graduated from Wasco High School in 1977. She married her husband, Julian Castillo, in 1978. She worked at Wasco Valley Rose Golf Course for 15 years. Before retiring, she had worked at GEO Correctional Facility for 5 years.

Annette is survived by her husband of 50 years, her children Julian "J." Castillo and Catherine Castillo, and her grandchildren Arianna Castillo and Xavier Medina. The love and support was felt from her sister, Angie Romero, as well as from numerous friends and family throughout her life. Annette passed away surrounded by her loved ones and joined her parents and brother, Philip Barbosa, in eternal life. Her loved ones will continue to honor her life by living their lives to the fullest.
