Anna Louise Blanton, born June 25, 1933, near Savoy, Texas, died March 16, 2014, in Bakersfield Ca. Louise is preceded in death by her parents, Ewing Thomas Blanton and Reva Lee Hopper Blanton, and older brother Thomas Lee Blanton. She is survived by her homely brother, Jim Blanton and wife Linda. Louise loved her extended family of nephews, nieces, cousins, and untold numbers of friends. She had a keen memory and continued to tell stories of people in faraway places (Kern County) and long, long ago (maybe 70 years or 7 days). Her personality was vibrant and bubbly. Her wit and sense of humor were ever present and pretty much to the point. She was always humming or singing but never on pitch or key. But if you could only see her now!! Louise has a new body and a new home!! She is now in Heaven loudly singing (on pitch and key) praises to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Family visitation and viewing will be on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 10 am, at Peters Funeral Home Chapel in Shafter followed by a graveside service at 2 pm, at Shafter Memorial Park.
